"Revenge" TV Review

Revenge Season 1 (2011-12) 4 Stars - Watch it on HULU or ABC Blog Exclusive! Every week on "Revenge" gets juicier than ever because of al the backstabbing, arson and manipulating going on in The Hamptons. sexual frustration going on it's hard to believe that the last few episodes have included romance! Yup that's right Daniel winds up proposing to Emily Thorne (played by Emily VanCamp) and even wants her to leave Long Island, New York with him immediately after the nuptials take place. I don't blame him... the traffic sucks in New York and there is nothing to look at while sitting on the Long Island Expressway. As least by running away to Paris the two lovebirds can get to be romantic while stuck in traffic. There's nothing like watching the sun set over the Eiffel Tower while your with your hunny. Poor guy can't win for losing; after all she doesn't really love him unconditionally. However at least Daniel's heart is still beating. Hon...

Blog Exclusive! The latest Resident Evil film "RE: Afterlife" stars RE series veteran Milla Jovovich (former wife of Luc Besson, one of my all-time favorite directors). It's in 3D of course, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. One reason this film will look good in 3D is that every single shot is filmed, not converted, in 3D. For you documentary lovers out there (myself included) "I'm Still Here" (perhaps the sequel to I'm Not There?) is a Casey Affleck flick. It documents the life of actor turned rapper turned weirdo Joaquin Phoenix. You may recall YouTube videos of Phoenix rapping at clubs and his stint on The Late Show With David Groperman. I may have spelled that wrong. It looks interesting so be sure to check out the trailer online. My last recommendation is ...

"Middle Men" Film Review

What stays in Vegas obviously isn't very good. (Now on DVD) 1 1/2 Stars Blog exclusive! "Middle Men" is a lame excuse for a motion picture. That being said let me tell you how I really feel. Though based on a true story there is nothing remotely down to earth onscreen. Full of sex and drugs, but sadly no rock n' roll "Middle Men" one of the most forgettable films I have seen all summer. The plot centers on Jack Harris (Luke Wilson) a no frills businessman who is easy to get along with and won't fuck people over. Jack is supposedly great at fixing other people’s mistakes. However he and his family are in debt and appear to be just as ordinary as other middle class Americans. Little discrepancies like this crop up throughout the picture. Against his wife's wishes Harris becomes caught up in a world of lust, greed and silicone. Of course Harris a nice country boy from Texas finds himself in over his head. Harris’ dealings with idiots, mobsters ...
